NANAWAGAN ang award-winning actor na si Arjo Atayde sa gobyerno na mas bonggang tulong at suporta para sa mas ikauunlad ng industriya ng telebisyon at pelikula.
Kasabay nito, hinikayat din ng aktor ang mga kapwa artista na huwag mawalan ng pag-asa ngayong panahon ng pandemya at darating ang araw na magiging maayos din ang lahat.
“I know it’s the hardest time to stay positive but again it has to start from within. Looking for a better 2021 and praying for a better 2021 for each and every Filipino out there and just keep praying.
“The problems only exist because solutions do so. Just keep praying. Kapit lang. A lot of people are helping and I’m very happy to see everyone helping.
“It’s good. I’m very, very happy about it. Stay positive guys and wear a mask,” mensahe ng Best Actor in a lead role sa 2020 Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAA) na ginanap last month para sa pelikulang “Bagman.”
Saludo rin daw ang binata sa mga artistang talagang nagbibigay ng matinding respeto at pagmamahal sa kanilang trabaho, gaano man ito kaliit o kalaki.
“I appreciate actors who give so much respect to the craft. There are a number of Filipino actors that I’ve worked with, some I’ve just seen on the screen, what amazes me is how they actually get to do their craft. There’s so many good Filipino character actors out there,” aniya.
Kasunod nito, nabanggit nga ni Arjo na sana’y mabigyan pa ng karagdagang tulong ng pamahalaan ang local entertainment industry tulad ng ibang bansa sa Asia.
“I don’t mean to badmouth the government, but I think other countries are supported by the government and I think that’s a big factor as well.
“I’m not badmouthing again, I’m stating a fact and I guess we just need more support, more funds, more time, especially now that we were so used to shooting 20-30 scenes in a span of 24 hours.
“Now you have to shoot that in a span of 12 hours. So imagine the adjustment that people have to go through for that. Maybe just with time and building the right team.
“It is the best time for people to collaborate and get the best team out there to put up a project and hopefully ship it abroad and make people see it,” pahayag pa ng boyfriend ni Maine Mendoza.
Samantala, present si Arjo sa wedding ng kapatid ni Maine na si Nicolas Dynn Mendoza at ng bride nitong si Krishna Prescilla.
Sa mga litratong kumalat sa social media makikitang kasama ang aktor sa entourage ng wedding ceremony na ginanap nitong Thursday, Jan. 21.
