KUNG may isang celebrity couple na talagang nagsisilbing inspirasyon sa maraming mag-asawang Pinoy kasabay ng pagsasabi ng hashtag #SanaAll, yan ay walang iba kundi sina Chesca Garcia at Doug Kramer.
Mahigit 17 years nang magdyowa ang dalawa at hanggang ngayon ay parang nagliligawan pa rin sila kaya naman itinuturing sila ng kanilang mga tagasuporta bilang “epitome of relationship goals.”
Hindi perpekto ang kanilang pagsasama pero naniniwala ang mag-asawa na pwedeng maging pang-forever ang relasyon ng mag-asawa kung may pagbibigayan, pagtitiwala at open communicationm.
Ayon kina Chesca at Doug, isa sa mga secrets to a long and happy marriage ay “spoiling each other.” Nag-post ang actress-TV host sa Instagram ng litrato nilang mag-asawa na tinawag niyang “date nights at home.”
“Spoiled wife, spoiled husband, too! It works both ways. It’s just but right for husband and wife to spend time and to continue to date each other.
“There is plenty of room to grow and get to know each other even more.
“It shouldn’t be optional, it’s obligatory — out of your love and devotion to your spouse,” ang caption ni Chesca sa kanyang IG post.
Ito naman ang payo ni Doug sa mga young couples ngayon, “Work through your troubles and misunderstandings and never let a day pass when you argue and fight. 17 years together, and we have never let an argument last more than a day.
“Takedown your pride, say sorry first, and admit your ownz faults rather than pointing fingers. Work on what you need to do rather than trying to change your partner’s attitude.
“And remember, love is more than an emotion. It’s always a choice. Oh btw, husbands… date your wife.”
Nauna rito, maraming nainggit na mommy kay Chesca nang regaluhan siya ni Doug ng brand new car.
“I know there are more important matters to you. But there are some things I don’t forget. I still remember the day we had to sell your favorite car to meet our needs. We never fought about money, you never complained either,” mensahe niya sa kanyang Instagram post.
Limang taon naging mag-boyfriend-girlfriend ang dalawa bago nagpakasal noong Oct. 9, 2008 sa Blue Leaf Events Place, McKinley Hill sa Taguig City.
More than 12 years na silang kasal at biniyayaan ng tatlong anak, sina Kendra, Scarlett at Gavin.
