Richard Gomez, nagpositibo sa Covid-19: ‘I will need a lot of rest’

Nagpositibo sa Covid-19 si Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez.

“I tested positive for Covid. It could be my exposure from multiple people because of work I do as mayor,” anang 55-anyos na actor turned politician.

Sa text message sa INQUIRER.net, sinabi ni Richard na nakakaranas siya ng mga sintomas na hindi naman malala.

“Symptoms are mild and manageable and I will go back to work as soon as doctors will give the clearance,” wika pa niya. “I ask everyone to continue to be vigilant and safe.”

Nakuha niya ang resulta ng kanyang test nito lamang Biyernes.

“I will be ok. I will need a lot of rest and will have to be in isolation until I’m better,” paniguro pa ni Goma.

Hanggang nitong Biyernes, may kabuuang  48,480 aktibong kaso ng Covid-19 ang Pilipinas. Sa tracker ng Department of Health, makikitang may  169 aktibong kaso naman sa Ormoc City.
